Online Free Pranayama Class for Mental Health Awareness Week

We will do a quick 22 minute breathing set, which I’ve specifically chosen to give you a lift in energy, increased clarity and a sense of balance. Even though breathing is the most natural and essential thing we do, conscious breathing can be quite a challenge. When you alter the breath you begin to oppose and release the habitual patterns of emotion and attention that are encoded in the habits of your body & mind. As those patterns begin to alter, you may drift in concentration or interest. If you continue and command the breath, then you will gain a new sense of ease and control where you direct your mind.

You will need: 22 minutes of time, preferably alone so you can really benefit. Some water and a comfortable mat or blanket. I always have an oil with me, but that’s optional. I’m working with Bergamot this week - the ‘Oil of Self Acceptance’. Always happy to sample, just reach out.
