My Pitta Pacifying Sunday Smoothie

Bananas feature on the ‘in moderation’ list for Pitta types as they have quite an oily quality to them, however the Sweet rasa (or taste) is very pacifying so this smoothie makes a really nice late morning alternative to breakfast. Enjoy no more than once a week.

Serves 2

1 pear

1 banana

1 Medjool date

1/2 Tsp almond butter

1/2 Tsp coconut oil

5 soaked and skinned almonds

Enough coconut milk to cover the ingredients once they are in the blender (add more if the consistency is too thick once blended)

Put all ingredients in blender, whizz up and drink immediately.
